Jessica Kiser

If Athena Medical Center for Women were a car, then Jessica Kiser would be the frame, the steering column, and the steering wheel. She keeps our friendly, but highly efficient medical machine running fast and smooth.

Jessica is our office manager. That’s her official title, but the truth is that she’s more like a ship’s captain. Jessica has been with us since 2000, almost from the beginning. She brought with her a strong background in office management and billing, so she was able to hit the ground running.

Perhaps her greatest strength is her ability to keep everyone happy and productive. Possibly that’s one reason we don’t have any employee turnover.

Jessica has two children – ages 8 and 6. If you’ve got children, then you can understand her ability to thrive in chaos, while keeping things as neat and orderly as possible. Jessica stays busy outside of the office watching her children playing soccer and baseball.

Christina

Christina is one of our two Medical Assistants. She’ll get you settled in before you see one of the doctors, check your blood pressure, and make sure that everything is fine and dandy with you during your visit with us.

She’s been with us at Athena Medical Center for Women since 2001 – about 7 years, and was a medical assistant elsewhere for the previous 5 years (just about 10 years as a medical assistant).

Her laugh is so infectious that you’ll hardly notice her extreme efficiency at her job. Suddenly, it’s all taken care of, and you just thought you were having a good time. She gets it done… fast, efficiently, and without missing a beat in the conversation.

Christina hopes to be an RN in the near future!

Elva

Elva is our other medical assistant. She’s also been with us about 5 years, and has been a medical assistant for about 8 years. Like Christina, Elva is a stickler for efficiency and accuracy. It almost makes Dee & Dr. Adams’ jobs easy.

Elva also enjoys talking with our patients, but she never lets the talking get in the way of getting you in and out of here as fast as possible. She knows that you’ve got better things to do than sit in a doctor’s office.

Elva spends her free time with her baby boy and husband.

Sabrina

Sabrina is our “newbie” and is usually the first and last person you’ll see when you come in. She’s our front office specialist. You might call her a receptionist, but as you’ll see, she does so much more.

Sabrina has been with us for 4 years – a baby. We like her being up front not just because she’s so good at handling all those up front duties (scheduling, phone calls, appointments, patients etc.), but because she LOVES people.

Sabrina is going to one day be “mucho” rich with the help of the California Lotto, and she will use her riches to open a rescue center for animals!
