At Athena Medical Center the focus is on our patients. We ask ourselves all the time…how can we improve how we provide care & services to our patients? Can we put processes in place that will allow our patients… 1.Greater flexibility with appointment scheduling 2.Less time in the waiting room 3.More time with the provider 4.Are we up to date on what "evidenced based practice" studies show 5.Are we interpreting the information in a way that is applicable to our pt population 6.Can we continue to survive financially if we offer a particular service 6.What services do our patients really want 7. What services do our patients really need 8.Are we providing the safest most successful services? YOU are why we exist. WE are why you exist. We believe our patients are unique & we believe we have a particularly unique relationship w/ our patients. After all is done & said, after many hours of careful consideration, as we apply the passion that is within us… our patient relationships feel like "family". In the "old days" providers were taught NOT to become emotionally attached to their patients. At Athena Medical you can count on your providers to care, to become emotionally attached & to treat you like family.
